ABOUT US
Welcome to St. Barbara School!
Welcome to St. Barbara School, where faith, academic excellence, and personal growth guide everything we do. As principal, I am blessed to work alongside our dedicated faculty, staff, students, and families to create a nurturing and Christ-centered learning environment.
Rooted in the mission of the Catholic Church, our school is committed to educating the whole child, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for student success. Through open communication and active collaboration with families, we strive to support each child as they grow into compassionate, responsible, and faith-filled individuals.
At St. Barbara, faith is woven into daily life. Through prayer, religious instruction, community service, and regular participation in the Sacraments, students are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and live out the values of the Gospel in their actions.
We invite families to be active participants in our school community. Whether through volunteering, attending school events, or partnering with teachers, your involvement strengthens the foundation of our shared mission.
Thank you for considering or being part of the St. Barbara School family. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or to learn more about what makes our school a special place for students to learn and grow.

Prayer
Prayer is an integral part of each day. Morning prayer, prayer before meals, prayer before dismissal, and prayers for special intentions are recited throughout the day.
Liturgy
We come together as a school to celebrate the liturgy at Mass three days a week and once a month on Sunday. School liturgies are prepared monthly by teachers and students and participated in by school staff, parents, and students. Holy days of obligation are observed.
Students have the opportunity to prepare special liturgies for faith formation. These may include student body Masses, prayer services, Stations of the Cross, the Living Rosary, May Crowning, scripture readings, and meditations.
Sacraments
Reconciliation is offered twice a year for students in grades 2-8. Students in second grade and up, who have been baptized and receive instruction in the School Sacramental Program, are eligible to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist.
Baptism is also offered to those students in need of this sacrament. Sacramental programs are coordinated through the Parish office.
